Delete your ShareSomeone data
You can delete everything ShareSomeone holds for you at any time, with or without the app.
On the website
Sign in at sharesomeone.com, open Settings and choose Delete my ShareSomeone data, then confirm.
In the Android app
Open Settings and choose Delete my ShareSomeone data, then confirm.
Without signing in
Email privacy@sharesomeone.com from the email address of your SOMEONE account and ask us to delete your ShareSomeone data. We reply to that address to confirm the request before deleting anything.
What is deleted
- Your connected networks and the access they granted (for Mastodon we also revoke the access at your server).
- Your posts, scheduled posts, destinations and delivery history, so nothing is published afterwards.
- Every photo and video file you uploaded.
- Your drafts, publishing defaults and usage counters.
- Your ShareSomeone sessions on the web and in the app, and notification devices.
- Your ShareSomeone profile.
Deletion happens straight away. Posts already published on your networks stay there; delete them on each network if you want them gone.
Your SOMEONE account
You sign in to ShareSomeone with your SOMEONE account. Deleting your ShareSomeone data does not delete your SOMEONE profile; to delete that, go to followsomeone.com/delete-account. The shared SOMEONE sign-in (your sign-in email and passkeys) is removed automatically once no SOMEONE product still has data for you: after deleting your ShareSomeone data, it is deleted if you have no SOMEONE profile and no ResearchSomeone data; otherwise it is kept so you can still sign in to them.
See the Privacy Policy for how long other information is kept.
